I had a rather mixed experience at this hotel. While the gym is truly impressive and the breakfast omelettes were fantastic, the noise levels were unbearable for someone seeking a restful stay. The room also had some cleanliness issues that need addressing. Overall, it has great potential, but I wouldn’t recommend it for light sleepers.

Rooms
5.0
The room was not cleaned properly; there were dirty socks left behind and a dirty remote control. It smelled bad too.
Service
5.0
The valet service was lacking; only two staff were available late at night, which resulted in long waits.
Location
6.0
The hotel is centrally located, making it very convenient for events at Spectrum Arena and being close to nightclubs, but the noise from the surrounding area was overwhelming.
Dining
9.0
Breakfast was delightful, especially thanks to Charles who made amazing omelettes and provided great service.
Facilities

The gym is incredibly well-equipped, probably the best I've seen in a hotel setting.

6.4/10

My experience at the hotel was a mixed bag. The staff was truly wonderful and attentive, which I appreciated, but the noise levels were unbearable at night, making it difficult to get any sleep. The facilities, including the pool, looked beautiful but were overcrowded with non-guests during my stay. Overall, I can't say it was worth the price due to the disturbances and lack of peace.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were nice but extremely noisy, especially being on the fourth floor across from a rooftop venue that blared music until 2 a.m. The discomfort from the noise overshadowed the room's comfort.
Service
9.0
The service was fantastic. The staff was pleasant and attentive, making my experience feel more welcoming despite the other issues.
Location
5.0
The hotel is situated in a lively entertainment district, which is great for nightlife but awful for a peaceful stay. This was the main downside, and I would not recommend it for those looking for rest.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast buffet offered a great variety, and the staff serving it were truly excellent. It was one of the few highlights of the stay!
Facilities
6.0
The pool is beautiful but becomes overcrowded with non-hotel guests after 5 p.m., which detracts from the experience for those of us who are paying to stay there.

I had an amazing experience at this resort! The service was exceptional, particularly from Reginald at valet and Marge in the restaurant, who made our stay unforgettable. The breakfast was delicious, especially the new eggs Benedict. On the downside, the pool area was a bit disappointing; it felt crowded and the non-guest access made lounging less enjoyable. Overall, I would recommend it for the outstanding service and beautiful room, but improvements are needed in the pool experience.

Breakfast was great, and I highly recommend trying the newly added eggs Benedict!
Facilities

The pool area was a bit small and crowded due to non-guests using the space.

I recently stayed at the Omni Charlotte and was disappointed by my experience. While the location was convenient, the service left much to be desired, and the room cleanliness was below acceptable standards. Add in the expensive valet parking and I felt like I didn’t get good value for my money. Overall, I’m not sure I would return.

Rooms
5.0
The room was visually appealing, but it had a strong smell of stale cigarettes and wasn't cleaned properly. The bathroom needed significant maintenance, as the toilet barely flushed and the sink had a noticeable black mark.
Service
5.0
Service was an issue throughout my stay. The front desk staff seemed disengaged, and interactions felt scripted and unhelpful. Valet service was dismissive when I requested assistance with transportation.
Location
5.0
The location had potential but was hindered by surrounding street construction, making the entrance tricky to find. Many restaurants were closed during my visit, which made the area feel less inviting.
Dining
5.0
I didn't dine much at the hotel, but my breakfast experience was very disappointing. The food was poorly prepared and didn’t meet what I expected from an establishment of this reputation.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel facilities seemed to lack the care that I would expect from a resort spa setting, with visible signs of neglect.

My stay at the Omni Hotel in Charlotte was fantastic overall. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the rooms felt luxurious and homey. I appreciated the convenient location near plenty of dining options. However, some renovations are needed in certain areas for a more modern feel. Still, the amenities and service made up for any minor discomforts, and I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone exploring the city.
